Magnificent Megan was named in honor and loving memory of Megan Lawrence who lost her life to domestic violence. Megan was a beautiful soul who was loved by so many but struggled to see her own magnificence in the mirror. Our founder, Audrey May Prosper met Megan while she was hospitalized at Tampa general hospital for her injuries. She became an advocate for Megan and Megan’s family. She also visited Megan often in ICU where Audrey herself once was in the same room with the same doctors and nurses. Megan also marked the first time Audrey ever raised money for a CAUSE or a survivor. What she didn’t know at the time is that the $10,000 she and Megan’s family raised would be used to bury Megan in her hometown and that Audrey would be the person to deliver her eulogy. Megan is forever remembered and close to Audrey’s heart as her personal inspiration and angel.
